We say, ‘If only I had known, I would have come’; let’s ask ourselves this question and see what happens:
You heard correctly, I didn’t say, ‘If only I had known’?
The answer here would be:
- You didn’t ask?
The opportunities we give ourselves emerge when we ask ourselves questions with curiosity and without fear; this questioning is much more useful than asking others. After all, how would they know what’s going on inside?
“It is foolish to expect progress without dipping the oar into the water.”
That oar is a question, because the brain cannot remain indifferent to any question.
My curiosity began like this: on one side were coaching techniques, on the other were the principles of how our brain works, and then we crossed paths with a neuroscientist like two Buddhists. He said: yes, first a person must know themselves; these analyses describe it very accurately: underlying all behavioural components are certain neurotransmitters: dopamine, serotonin, testosterone, oxytocin…
I asked myself: how can I make something so useful accessible to others so they can benefit from it too?
Then the NSPmethod emerged: simply ask yourself what your intention is, stay true to it, move forward and plan, and if it doesn’t work out, return to your intention.
It’s a cycle, a tool belonging to our land; we were always going with other people’s methods.
Daily life involves ups and downs, friction, escapes, unnecessary questions, doubts, or confusion. Our natural state is to think and develop our ability to choose from our thoughts.
You can spend less time finding how to say what you want to say to yourself using this method. You can achieve more than you want and enjoy the process more.
The real answer is the product of the right question.
Yes, you shouldn’t wait for someone else to ask the powerful question; you are the only one who knows it and can reach it.
The silence of the questions in your head is a sign: they may say stay that way or don’t say anything.
This situation tells you: be patient and wait for the new design in your mind.
Answers can sometimes be hidden in silence; only, if the question is powerful, this silence turns into an echo. Because our inner voices are very curious to find new ways to wander in the mind. When the question ends, the search stops!
Our only mistake is often not asking questions. Let’s put it this way: Questions are useful when directed at ourselves. Addressing the mind properly reveals its intentions.
Knowing how to ask yourself questions is akin to changing direction according to the wind. It even makes it easier to resolve your fixation and shift to a different perspective. This book aims to leave certain questions and topics within your personal space. Only then can it lead you to an action that focuses you on that path or to a different way of thinking. It involves questioning our intentions in N, establishing the paths we can take to do this in S, and progressing and learning on these paths that open up in P. It is a tool created through observation and surveys conducted with everyone involved. It is supported by data from participants in every training session, coaching/mentoring session, and conference. NSPmethod is a tool for self-coaching.
Our choices reveal who we are. The pleasures that come from helping others, companionship, and contributing to others are all investments. Action is an investment. Just like when I met someone at a conference and started using the Birkman behavioural management tool. Under the shadow of hidden needs, you and your inner self work in a kind of anonymous partnership. My only principle: if I want to pay a price, I prefer to pay it with pleasure in the moments I live. That’s why ‘QR’ is in the book, to let a little playfulness in so that the child within us can rejoice.
Remember, you have a date with yourself. For life!
