Deniz Kılınç / Istanbul, June 13 (HNA) – Turkey’s annual industrial production surged 10.8 percent in April, while it remained the same compared to March.
Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) data revealed that while mining and quarrying index increased by 7.4 percent and manufacturing index increased by 11.9 percent, electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply index decreased by 0.4 percent in April, compared to the same month of the previous year.
On a monthly basis, mining and quarrying index increased by 3.4 percent and manufacturing index increased by 0.1 percent, while the electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply index decreased by 3.3 percent in April.
