Deniz Kılınç / Istanbul, June 10 (HNA) – Construction cost index increased by 106.60 percent and 6.12 percent in april on an annual and monthly basis, respectively.
Turkish Statistical Institute’s (TurkStat) data revealed that material index increased by 133.71 percent and 7.47 percent, in april, compared to the same month of the previous year and the previous month. Meanwhile, labour index increased by 43.75 percent and 1.35 percent during the same periods.
Building construction cost index increased by 103.46 percent and by 6.39 percent in april, respectively, on an annual and monthly basis. Material index increased by 130.03 percent and labour index increased by 43.52 percent in april compared to the previous year. On a monthly basis, material index increased by 7.92 percent and labour index increased by 1.23 percent.
Construction cost index for civil engineering increased by 5.27 percent compared to the previous month and by 117.36 percent compared to the same month of the previous year. Material index increased by 145.83 percent and labour index increased by 44.61 percent in april compared to the previous year. The indices increased by 6.10 percent and 1.81 percent compared to march.
