Istanbul’s former Chairman and former State Minister received the best economics book award from the American Economic Association for his book titled “Tek Kanatla Kuş Uçmaz” published by Istanbul-based publishing house, Scala.
Known as the founder of the Interbank Money Market, Open Market Operations, Foreign Exchange Market, and Gold Market in Turkey, Törüner thanked Scala Publishing for the publication of his book and appreciated the hard work by the Scala team, in a meeting with Scala Publishing editors Canan and Hakan Feyyat.
Törüner also signed a contract with Scala Publishing to publish all his works for the next five years. Four important works written by Törüner about economics will be made available for readers of Scala Publishing in the coming days.
Scala was also authorized to represent Yaman Törüner’s works to be published overseas.
