London, August 13 (HNA) – London, August 13th (HNA) – Seasonally adjusted industrial production in the euro area rose 9.1 percent on a monthly basis in June.
Eurozone industrial production fell 12.3 percent year-on-year in June, according to Eurostat data, the European Union’s statistics office.
According to Eurostat data, annual production;
20.2 percent in durable consumer goods,
– 14.2 percent in capital goods,
6.7 percent in intermediate goods,
4.8 percent in nondurable consumer goods,
– energy increased 2.6 percent.
The highest annual increases in euro area industrial production were in Slovakia with 21.7 percent and in Hungary with 17.1 percent.
Industrial production across the European Union also rose 9.1 percent on a monthly basis in June, and fell 11.6 percent on an annual basis.
