Deniz Kılınç / Istanbul, May 16 (HNA) – Journalist, Author, and Translator Osman Şenkul joined Scala Publishing.
Beginning his journalism career at daily Dunya and later moving on to other newspapers including Milliyet and Cumhuriyet, Senkul worked as a News Director and Managing Editor at Reuters News Agency. Senkul held the title of Economy and International News Editor at Doğan News Agency after working at Referans and Radikal newspapers.
Besides his journalism career, Senkul also published four books: Ölümün Efendileri – İlk Hesaplaşma from Güncel Yayıncılık and Dava, Parahistoria, Ajans Haberciliği and Parahistoria Faiz from Scala Publishing, respectively. Also, Senkul’s fourth book Ajans Haberciliği was also published in English, titled Hermes – News and News Agency Journalism.
Born in 1959 in İzmit, Senkul completed his high school education at Darüşşafaka High School and İzmit Industrial School Department of Electrics and his graduate education at İstanbul University Faculty of Economics following Middle East Technical University (METU) Department of Engineering in Electronics and Faculty of Administrative Science in Department of Business.
