Helsinki, August 4 (HNA) – The telecom company Nokia has signed a 5g agreement with the Taiwanese mobile operator Asia Pacific Telecom (APT) as the sole supplier.
According to the press release from Nokia, APT plans to launch 5g services later this year.
Nokia provided a majority of APT’s 4g network.
Nokia shares rose 1.0 percent on the Helsinki Stock Exchange on Tuesday morning, after rising 12.5 and 5.3 percent respectively after the strong quarterly report on Friday.
